RICKENBACKER 370/12

The Rickenbacker 370/12, in the hands of The Byrds Roger McGuinn, sent Rock music into an entirely different orbit.

No guitar, before or since, has had quite the same balance of tone, playability and high-end appointments that the 370/12 possesses in spades.

Obviously, the starting point of any guitar is the sound - and nothing sounds like a 370/12. It more than 'rings' - this guitar positively shimmers. It has a tone like wind-chimes on a frosty, clear morning - every note, sharp and bright and glistening with a menthol freshness.

The triple pick-up configuration provides a depth and dimension of sound that is just not possible from the twin pick-up version of this guitar, and the unique RIC 'fifth knob' allows for perfect levels of balance to be dialled in, to ensure you get exactly the tone you are looking for.

You also get 'Ric-O-Sound' with the 370/12, so you can expand your sound into stereo whenever you choose.

370/12s feature a carved semi-hollow body, made from premium maple.  The neck is also premium maple with a rosewood fretboard featuring 'shark-fin' markers.

The Schaller machine-heads keep everything tight and in register, and are easy to use thanks to RIC's ingenious 'horizontal/vertical' tuner key arrangement.

The 370/12 probably says more about 'the essence of Rickenbacker' than any other model in the range. When you see the guitar - it couldn't be anything but a RIC.  When you hear it - it couldn't be anything but a RIC.  When you play it - well, you can feel the history in your hands.
