Grover Machine-Heads
For
almost a century, we’ve been keeping the world’s
finest string instruments in tune. It started in the late
1800’s when Grover first produced a few guitar and
banjo machine heads, then expanded into additional production
of tuners for bass guitar, pedal steel, mandolin, dulcimer,
ukulele and violin.
While many changes have taken place
over the years, the one constant has been that we continue
to supply the music industry with the finest products available.
From the world’s first enclosed, permanently lubricated
machine heads, to our newest technological breakthroughs,
the one-step self lock, we are proud to be original equipment
on many of the world’s finest string instruments.
Since our production process utilises only the top of the
line quality standards, we proudly stand behind our machine
heads with the following lifetime warranty... should your
Grover tuners ever fail, for any reason, simply return them
to us for a fast and friendly no charge repair or replacement.
If you are already using Grover products, thank you for
your support in making Grover the most trusted name in music
around the world.
If not, maybe it’s time to “Change Over to Grover!”
POST HOLE SIZES
Many of the Grover tuners will fit the existing holes in the headstock without any modification at all.
However, we realize sometimes the existing holes need to be enlarged a bit in order for our tuners to fit properly.
As a result, we have provided the chart below showing the exact drill bit needed for each tuner series.
Please note, always enlarge the hole size from the front, or face, of the headstock.

ROTO-GRIP®
(502 SERIES) From the makers of the world’s finest machine heads, come the superb Grover ‘Roto-Grip’ tuners, which now both lock and fine tune! With this new system, changing strings has never been easier – just thread the string through the tuner post hole, pull it tight, and turn the thumbwheel clockwise. An internal pin locks the string, and you’re ready to tune. Additionally, when replacing strings, Grover’s unique design prevents the thumb wheel from falling out, so you won’t lose it! With an 18:1 gear ratio, precise tuning occurs in seconds – just a few turns of the tuner button and you are ‘locked’ in tune. Grover ROTO-GRIPS are available in standard and mini formats, and in the usual layout configurations. Set of 6 machine-heads - 6-in-a-line format |
