Vintage V6MRHDX Thomas Blug 'Summer of Love'

This guitar is a piece of art - in all senses of the word.

It was designed by world famous session player Thomas Blug, based on the 'Summer of Love' guitar which Jimi Hendrix played and then burned at the Monterey International Pop Festival in 1967.

The graphics are all hand-applied by German artist, Daniel Hahn and the guitar has been lovingly 'aged' to simulate many hard years on the road.

Despite being a right-handed guitar, the 'Summer of Love' has a reversed headstock to simulate Jimi's 'flipped' Strats.

'Under the hood' the 'Summer of Love' is made from alder with a bolt on neck.  The guns are 3 Wilkinson vintage, aged ivory single-coils, featuring Thomas Blugs beloved Bukka switch, which is a push/pull hum-cancelling dummy coil triggered by the rear tone pot.

This guitar is a stone-dead jaw dropper - which just gets better when you plug it in and start to wail on it.
